What we are looking for

We are interested in original explanations of rules, roles, tactics, formats, equipment and the structures that shape play. A strong piece gives readers a useful way to understand one subject without relying on live results, unsupported claims or specialist shorthand. Proposed subjects should be safe for a general reader to explore without professional advice.

Make the pitch specific

Tell us the working title, the central question, the intended reader and the main point the piece will leave them with. Briefly explain how the article would be distinct from a general overview and what information or sources you would use. If the idea concerns a particular game, format or ruleset, name that scope.

Before you send
